Due to the COVID-19 public heath pandemic, the IRS Office of Safeguards has employed hybrid reviews (combination of on-site reviews and remote reviews) to analyze each agency's safeguarding and use of FTI. This hybrid reviews will reduce IRS footprint during on-site review and include improved efficiency of the review workflow by enabling data collection to occur pre-visit and during on-site visit. Agencies reviewed on the three-year cycle receive an SRR and CAP with documented findings within 45 days of the closing conference.
