New Mexico Tax Workshops, Meetings and Seminars

If you live near a state line, please look for tax workshops, meetings and seminars in nearby cities of the bordering state.

New Business Workshop

This workshop is for you if you have a brand new business, are thinking about starting a business or have an existing business. A volunteer for the IRS will present record keeping, selecting the right type of business entity, expenses, office in the home, depreciation and basic forms. The workshop also includes a brief "Issues for New Businesses" section to introduce you to other state and federal regulations and information resources. In addition, the New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department explains gross receipts tax, including how to file, taxable and nontaxable transactions and record keeping.

If you are an individual with a disability who is in need of a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter or any other form of auxiliary aid or service to attend or participate in the workshop, please contact Albuquerque SBDC at least two weeks prior to the workshop or as soon as possible.
