Event Information: This free workshop will benefit individuals getting started in business and those interested in going into business. It focuses on the fundamentals of federal taxes for small business owners, including entity choice, recordkeeping, business income and expenses, self-employment tax and estimated tax. The seminar also covers the basics of small business tax forms, including Schedule C (Form 1040), Profit or Loss from Business (Sole Proprietorship), Schedule SE (Form 1040), Self-Employment Tax, and Form 1040-ES, Estimated Tax for Individuals.

The seminar provides an opportunity to get answers to a wide range of tax questions about launching a new business venture. IRS small business products will be available to all attendees at this event. Seating is on a first come, first seated basis.
