Event Information: Lehman College Small Business Development Center will host a 3 session workshop. This course reviews the rules and regulations concerning the taxation of business entities, such as individual proprietorship, partnerships and corporations. It is essential for anyone who owns/operates their own business, as well as bookkeepers or accountants who are interested in starting a business. IRS material will be utilized for the presentation and IRS material will be distributed and reference during the course. The following IRS topics will be discussed:

  • Lesson 1 -What you need to know about federal taxes and your new business
  • Lesson 2 - How to set up and run your business so paying taxes isn't a hassle
