Business Information Seminar
This training provide an overview of their services to individuals who are planning a startup business as well as people that have an existing business and who are looking for ways to improve their cash flow, revitalize their marketing programs and other ways to improve revenue. There is no cost to attend these seminars. SCORE is partnering with IRS by providing IRS small business materials and services during their discussion of taxes. The seminars are held in the conference room on the lower level at the US Bank Building (enter at East 14th Street entrance). Parking nearby (rates vary). Fundamentals of Financial Management
This workshop offers an in-depth review of financial management for the existing business or serious entrepreneur in the pre-startup mode. The class focuses on profit and loss statement, balance sheet, cash flow and discusses expenses, start-up costs, cash cycles, granting and receiving credit, pricing, inventory, asset acquisition and financing options. Attending this course will provide a much broader understanding of the financial requirements for operating a business and being profitable. In partnership with SCORE, IRS Stakeholder Liaison provides small business tax materials as part of the resources available to workshop participants free of charge. Small Business Fundamentals: Key Factors of Successful Small Business Development
This 6-week series explores various aspects of small business ownership.

- Selling and marketing your business

- Managing the growth of your business
This series combines the impact of an intensive business development and management series with the personalized attention and detail of 1-on-1 business counseling sessions. The result is an intensive, multi-faceted business training program that is recognized and recommended by a range of financial institutions and entrepreneurial-support programs throughout Northeast Ohio. IRS Stakeholder Liaison provides small business tax materials that will be presented and reviewed by class participants. While there is a fee for this course, all IRS materials presented are free of charge. Participants are responsible for meeting all the required criteria in order to qualify for a certificate of completion. The course fee is $200. Seating is limited and registration is required.
