Event Information: The Business Information Seminars, offered by Cleveland SCORE, provide an overview of their services to individuals who are planning a startup business as well as people that have an existing business and who are looking for ways to improve their cash flow, revitalize their marketing programs and other ways to improve revenue. There is no cost to attend these seminars. SCORE is partnering with IRS by providing IRS small business materials and services during their discussion of taxes. To register, please call 216-522-4194, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., or email appointments@chapter30.org. The seminars are held in the conference room on the lower level at the US Bank Building (enter at East 14th Street entrance). Parking nearby (rates vary).   • What lenders look for from small business applicants
  • Developing meaningful business plans
  • Identifying clients and competitors
  • Small business recordkeeping and accounting
  • Legal aspects of running your business
  • Selling and marketing your business
  • Funding options
  • Managing the growth of your business

This series combines the impact of an intensive business development and management series with the personalized attention and detail of one-on-one business counseling sessions. The result is an intensive, multi-faceted business training program that is recognized and recommended by a range of financial institutions and entrepreneurial-support programs throughout Northeast Ohio. IRS Stakeholder Liaison provides small business tax materials that will be presented and reviewed by class participants. While there is a fee for this course, all IRS materials presented are free of charge. Participants are responsible for meeting all the required criteria in order to qualify for a certificate of completion. The course fee is $200. Seating is limited and registration is required.
