The IRS announced that Christopher Wagner will serve as Deputy Commissioner of the TE/GE Division.

Notice 2006-65 includes guidance on the recently enacted law that detailed an increase in penalties on tax-exempt accommodation parties that are involved in certain prohibited tax shelter transactions.
