1. Tax Talk Today Program - Political Do's & Don'ts
The IRS invites churches and other 501(c)(3) organizations to an on-line program on Political Intervention Do's and Don'ts. The program will feature IRS subject matter experts.
2. Workshops for Exempt Organizations
This spring and summer the IRS Exempt Organizations Division will again offer workshops for small and mid-sized exempt organizations. To view the workshop schedule and agenda and to register online, visit EO's Calendar of Events
3. e-File News
For tax year 2005 returns that are due in 2006, new regulations require organizations with total assets of $100 million or more that file 250 or more returns a year, including income tax, excise tax, information and employment tax returns, to file electronically.
