DOL Coordinators, TAA Coordinators, and State Workforce Agencies (SWA's)
As partners at the state level, Department of Labor (DOL) Regional Coordinators, Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Coordinators, and State Workforce Agencies (SWA) plan an essential role in increasing awareness of the HCTC. They also have the responsibility of transmitting eligibility of transmitting eligibility records (for individuals who are TAA/ATAA/RTAA recipients) to the HCTC program in a timely manner. Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC)
As valued partners, PBGC representatives play an essential role in increasing awareness of the HCTC by explaining the benefits of the HCTC to the PGBGC payees who they work with. They also have the responsibility of transmitting eligibility records (for PBGC payees who are at least 55 years old) to the HCTC program each month.
Health Plan Administrators
Health Plan Administrators (HPA's) are vital to the success of the monthly HCTC program. An individual's role as an HPA can vary, depending on the level of involvement in helping eligible individuals receive the tax credit.
