Software Developers Conference
The 2014 Software Developers Conference will be held June 25, 2014, at the New Carrollton Federal Building (NCFB) Auditorium, located at 5000 Ellin Road, in Lanham, MD 20706.
This event is designed to provide you with the most up-to-date information relating to the preparation, transmission and processing of electronic returns. This year, the conference will be focused on technical discussions and is best attended by technical representatives that are familiar with and would be involved in working technical aspects of such topics as:
- 2014 Filing Season Recap and Lessons Learned
- 2015 Filing Season Readiness
- MeF 9.5 (What's New)
- XML Standardization Additions
- Identity Theft
- Fraud Initiatives
- ACA forms information will be provided IF it is available
Conference hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To attend you must register online through June 14, 2014, by sending a message to IRS.SW.CONF@irs.gov with the following information. Pre-registration is required due to security requirements, and no on-site registration will be allowed.

The NCFB Auditorium is theatre seating and extension cords cannot be used for safety reasons. Wired Internet access is not available. Food and beverages are also not permitted in the auditorium.
