2007 LITC Grant Application Process - NOW CLOSED.

2007 Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) Grant Application Package and Guidelines
The National Taxpayer Advocate, Nina E. Olson, announced that the 2007 Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) grant application process is now open. Under the program, IRS awards matching grants up to $100,000 a year to develop, expand or continue low income taxpayer clinics.

The IRS Electronic-Grants Program
To apply for the Low Income Taxpayer Clinics (LITC) Grant, qualifying organizations must download and install the PureEdge Viewer, a free program to access, complete and transmit applications electronically.

IRS Accepting Applications for Low Income Taxpayer Clinic Matching Grants
IR-2006-77, May 8, 2006 — Under the program, IRS awards matching grants of up to $100,000 per year to develop, expand or continue low income taxpayer clinics.

Low Income Taxpayer Clinics!
LITCs are qualifying organizations that provide representation for free or a nominal fee to low income taxpayers involved in tax disputes with the IRS.
