Medical Reimbursements

Although reimbursements for medical care are generally not taxable, they may reduce the taxpayer's medical expense deduction.

Likewise, taxpayers can get money tax free from their Archer medical savings account (Archer MSA) as long as they use the money to pay for qualified medical expenses.
