Estimated tax payments can be sent to the IRS:
- Electronically through the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System from the taxpayer's checking or savings account or by credit card, or
- By check, along with the appropriate payment voucher from Form 1040ES
Each voucher is inscribed with its due date. Be sure to use the correct voucher for each payment.
