The Presidential Election Campaign Fund appears in the name and address area of Forms 1040EZ, 1040A, or 1040.

Check the box if the taxpayer wishes to have $3 go to the Presidential Election Campaign Fund.

• Checking the box will not change the tax or reduce the refund
  
  
• On a joint return, each taxpayer chooses whether or not $3 should go to the fund

Checking this box does not affect the amount of tax owed or decrease a refund.
