This certification path is intended for new students who will prepare tax returns for members of the armed forces. The Military Course includes the full scope of VITA/TCE except with minimal pension income instruction and introduces tax law that pertains to military tax situations.

Military persons going overseas for VITA/TCE must take two International lessons: Foreign Income Exclusion and Foreign Tax Credit. In addition, they need to be certified in both the Military and International tests.

You may "test out" of the Military Course by achieving a passing score on the Test. Take the course in the order shown to complete your Military training program:
