Corrections to the 2011 Instructions for Form 8582, Passive Activity Loss Limitations
If you downloaded the 2011 Instructions for Form 8582 before June 19, please note the following changes made to the instructions:
On page 1, column 3, in the last paragraph under the heading, "Exception," line references were changed as follows:
- In the second sentence, a change from "Supplemental Income and Loss, Part I, line 22" to "Supplemental Income and Loss, Part I, line 21" and from "Schedule E (Form 1040), Part I, line 23" to "Schedule E (Form 1040), Part I, line 22."
- In the fourth sentence, a change from "Form 4835, line 33c" to "Form 4835, line 34c."
