Director of e-Channel Support

Rob is responsible for developing the business strategy and leading program delivery of several modernization initiatives – most notably Modernized e-File (MeF), a web-based system that allows electronic filing through the internet and when fully deployed will allow the IRS to retire its legacy system.  Prior to joining ETARC, Rob served as the Director of Business Engagement and Program Management where he co-led the development of a new strategy to accelerate the development and delivery of the Customer Account Data Engine program. Previous IRS appointments include Project Director, Customer Account Data Engine in the W&I Business Modernization Office and Chief, Business Strategist and Business Architect in the W&I CAS organization.

With more than twenty years of business and technology experience in software development, customer services and project management, Rob joined the IRS in October 2004. Before starting his career with the Service, Rob was Vice President of Global Customer Support at Hyperion Solutions; a global leader in financial management, compliance and analytic software and services. At Hyperion, Rob led the organization’s efforts to improve operations and employee and customer satisfaction, through process engineering and system modernization.

Rob is an advocate of building strong business relationships and working collaboratively to deliver business results through the implementation of information technology solutions and re-engineering businesses processes.
