For Deaf Users of Relay Services (ASL) - YouTube video text script

Hi, I work for IRS.

Good News!

IRS now accepts calls from taxpayers via all types of relay services whether they are from federal, state and/or private relay providers.

Not just the Federal Relay Service anymore.

Times have changed.

You can use your preferred relay service and method to call the IRS for assistance.  The IRS welcomes calls via your choice of relay – whether you use relay through Videophone, AIM, Computer, Captioned Telephone (Captel), or TTY.

Remember for Relay users, our voice number is 800-829-1040. (Graphic: Call IRS via relay: 800-829-1040 voice, Use Federal Relay Service or any relay service provider.)

If you prefer not going through relay service, you can call us direct. Our TTY number is 800-829-4059. (Graphic: Call IRS via TTY: 800-829-4059)

Either way we are here for you!
