New User Registration Information
LITC electronic applications can be transmitted through the IRS Electronic-Grants site or the Grants.gov site managed by Health and Human Services at www.grants.gov. Using the registration link proviced below will access the IRS EGrants site. To access the application on the grants.gov site, qualified applicants must download the PureEdge viewer to prepare and transmit an electronic application.

Low Income Taxpayer Clinic (LITC) Applications can be accessed via www.grants.gov beginning May 8, 2006. LITC Grant Applications must be submitted no later than July 07, 2006, at 4:00p.m. EDT.

Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) Applications can be accessed through the Electronic-Grants system beginning on June 1, 2006. TCE Grant Applications must be submitted no later than August 1, 2006, at 4:00p.m. EDT.
Registering
Click on the "Login to the Electronic-Grants System" button from the Home Page to access the Electronic-Grants Login Page. From there, click on the "Register" link to access the EIN Verification Page.
On the EIN Verification Page, you will need to submit your Employer Identification Number (EIN) and Organization's Legal Name. Once this information is validated, you will be directed to the Registration Page to submit your demographic information and create a Username and password, which you will then use to Login to the system.
