The Form 1040 (2011v4.0) schema and business rule packages have been posted to IRS.gov.

XML Schemas

The schemas will be available for ATS on December 28, 2011. The schemas will be available for Production on Janurary 17, 2012.

The "Diff" Files in the schema package identify the changes.

Business Rules

The Form 1040 (2011v4.0) business rules have been posted in two (2) formats that contain identical information: Adobe (.pdf) and Comma Separated Values (.csv).
