Taxpayer Assistance Centers (ASL) - YouTube video text script

Hi, I’m Maria and I work for the IRS.

Did you know that the IRS has Taxpayer Assistance Centers nationwide?

We really do – all across the country.

Even though the answers to most questions can be found online, in our publications or by telephone through relay services, our assistance centers are a source of face-to-face help for tax issues that just can’t be resolved by phone or online.

Additionally, when you make an appointment to meet with someone at our assistance center, you can request a sign language interpreter.  And allow time for the centers to secure interpreting services.

To find a center near you, go to www.IRS.gov/localcontacts.
