Event Information: The Kansas Tax Symposium is sponsored by the Kansas National Association of Tax Professionals, Kansas Small Business Development Center and Internal Revenue Service.

Representatives from the IRS will provide information to tax professionals on such topics as Examination and Collection issues, identity theft, tax law updates, the Taxpayer Advocate's Office, Appeals and more. The Symposium is designed in a way to encourage practitioners to address important tax topics and issues with IRS representatives first hand.

Participants will receive up to 7 hours of Continuing Professional Educations, CE for EAs, or legal education. NE Chapter of CPA will be responsible for issuing CE Credit certificates to the attendees. There is a cost for this event that is charged by the Kansas Chapter of NATP. Fees include refreshments, lunch and CPE hours. IRS is not charging for this event. Sign-in the day of the event will begin at 7:30 a.m.
