ITG FAQ #7 Answer-Where are Indian tribes allowed to conduct gaming activities under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act?

The Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (IGRA) provides guidelines to this question.  The National Indian Gaming Commission’s website includes IGRA at the following website: http://nigc.gov/LawsRegulations/IndianGamingRegulatoryAct/tabid/605/Default.aspx

In general, Indian tribes may game in Class II Bingo games in any state which permits Bingo to be played.  Class III games are permitted on trust land where a Tribal-State Compact has been approved by the Dept. of Interior.
