If you tried to use IRS Secure Messaging for your IRS examination but failed registration or are unable to log in, refer to the original letter you received in the mail for instructions on completing the examination by mail.

If you tried to use IRS Secure Messaging for your EITC and/or Levy Case with the Taxpayer Advocate Service but failed registration or are unable to log in, contact your Case Advocate by phone for instructions on conducting your case by mail/fax.
