The guide will provide direction in accessing the features available in the tools using specific technologies, including screen readers, screen magnifiers and speech recognition software. Error Messages Once error messages are triggered on a page, they will continue to display for any additional required questions. Elements Not Visible in High Contrast If you enter the SAMS application with the High Contrast settings on, some elements will not be visible. ZoomText Action Commands Virtual HTML features INSERT + F3 Increase magnification ALT + NUMPAD PLUS Decrease magnification ALT + NUMPAD MINUS Turn color enhancements on and off CTRL + SHIFT + C Font Enhancements (xFont, Standard and None) CTRL + SHIFT + F There are known issues where the following behaviors may occur: ZoomText focus is not visible when the first page displays. Visual focus is next to "Before you Get Started" bullet statements. When the user clicks tab focus may move to the first tooltip. The focus stays on the Preview button on the upload page. The file that displays when the user selects the "Preview" button does not receive focus. Mac Zoom There are known issues where the following behaviors may occur: After a file has successfully uploaded, user selects the preview button. The preview displays, however, focus remains on the preview button. VO announces hidden SSN numbers. Focus is on the dotted line box but not the "select files to upload" button. User is able to activate by pressing double tap, files pop up box displays, and user is able to select their choice of file. User is not notified of status or completion of upload for a failed file. Focus is on the dotted line box but when clicked on nothing happens. The user needs to trigger the error message for missing file, then select the error message link. Focus displays on the "Select files to upload" button, then the user can click on it and upload a file.
