IR-2015-110, Sept. 29, 2015 — Farmers and ranchers who previously were forced to sell livestock due to drought have an extended period of time in which to replace the livestock and defer tax on any gains from the forced sales, the IRS announced today.

IR-2015-109, Sept. 28, 2015 — The IRS today urged taxpayers whose tax-filing extension runs out on Oct. 15 to double check their returns for often-overlooked tax benefits and then file their returns electronically using IRS e-file or the Free File system.

IR-2015-108, Sept. 24, 2015 — The IRS announced today that the Competent Authority of the United States has signed Competent Authority Arrangements with Australia and the United Kingdom to improve international tax compliance and implement FATCA.

IR-2015-107, Sept. 11, 2015 — The IRS today reminded corporations and partnerships that took extensions to file their income tax returns by the Sept. 15 deadline, which applies to any business whose fiscal year is also the calendar year.

IR-2015-106, Sept. 4, 2015 – The IRS today announced that interest rates will remain the same for the calendar quarter beginning October 1, 2015.
