Event Information: The Internal Revenue Service and the Comptroller of Maryland jointly sponsor the 39th Annual Federal and State Tax Institutes. The institutes consist of workshops for tax-return preparers, practitioners and are offered at four Maryland locations during November 2013. The goal of the institutes is to update, clarify, explain federal and state tax law reporting requirements and any new tax law developments. The pre-registration fee is $90; walk-in registration is $150. This includes access to the materials on the website, lunch, refreshment breaks and a certificate of completion. Printed materials will be provided at an additional $25 charge. Materials are
contingent upon availability for walk-ins. Doors will open for registration and check-in at 7:30 a.m. The session begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. If you require a kosher meal, please include an additional $25 with your registration.
Full-time attendance at all sessions is required to earn the maximum 8 Continuing Professional Education credits from Maryland State Board of Public Accountancy and to receive a Certificate of Completion.
