Understanding Your CP211C Notice

What this notice is about

We denied your Form 8868, Application for Automatic Extension of Time to File an Exempt Organization Return, because it wasn't received on time.

What you need to do

File your required exempt organization return immediately to limit any late filing penalties. If you file your exempt organization return after the due date of the return (including any extensions), the return is considered late and subject to late filing penalties.
