Verify the status of an enrolled agent

Need to verify whether someone is an enrolled agent? Submit your request using the Contact the Office of Enrollment form. Select “I am requesting information about an enrolled agent.” 

This form is not for IRS employee verification.

It is the policy of the IRS Office of Enrollment to answer inquiries within 72 hours. However, unanticipated operational demands may result in a delay in responding.
