Each new principal and responsible official listed on a new e-file application, or added to an existing application, is required to schedule an appointment with Fieldprint®, the IRS authorized vendor.

E-file security, privacy and business standards mandate

The IRS has mandated six new security, privacy, and business standards to better serve taxpayers and protect their information collected, processed and stored by online providers of individual income tax returns.

E-file providers prohibited from transmitting returns prior to receiving Forms W-2, W-2G or 1099-R
