ITG FAQ #3 answer - Does the manufacturing tax apply to Indian tribal governments or individual tribal members?

 

The manufacturers tax does not apply to articles of native Indian handicraft, such as bow and arrow components, manufactured by Indians on reservations, in Indian schools, or under U.S. jurisdiction in Alaska. This is true for both tribes and tribal members.
