Form 5405 will no longer be revised

Form 5405, Repayment of the First-Time Homebuyer Credit, and the Instructions for Form 5405, will not be updated after the 2024 tax year. The 2024 tax year is the last year that Form 5405 may be filed, as the 15-year repayment period for homes purchased in 2008 began with the 2010 tax return and ended with the 2024 tax return.
