Stakeholder Liaison local contacts

Stakeholder Liaison establishes relationships with practitioner and industry organizations as well as other organizations that support the American taxpayer. We provide information about the policies, practices, and procedures the IRS uses to ensure compliance with the tax laws. We also elevate issues that affect tax administration using the Issue Management Resolution System (IMRS) – an internal database that streamlines and facilitates issue identification, resolution or response and feedback. Use this list to find a contact in your state to establish a relationship with us or report an issue.

If you are a tax professional and believe you are a victim of a Data Breach, contact your local Stakeholder Liaison immediately or contact us using the telephone numbers/email addresses below.

Please note, the contacts on this page are intended for stakeholders mentioned above, not to respond to tax law questions or account inquiries.

For tax law questions, please refer to the "Help" tab in the top menu bar.

For refund inquiries, please visit the "Where's My Refund" page.
