Reminder: Publication 3112, IRS e-file Application and Participation includes the following prohibition: A Provider must not use the IRS’ name, “Internal Revenue Service,” or “IRS” within a firm’s name. This includes the name of a provider’s website. The IRS will periodically review and initiate action to remove providers that fail to comply with this requirement from the Approved IRS e-file for Business Provider Pages.
