Smart Tax Strategies for Home-based Businesses: Business Use of Your Home
This local virtual industry/business meeting/seminar/“working together” seminar is hosted in collaboration with the Jacksonville Black Chamber of Commerce. The session, led by an IRS stakeholder liaison, will focus on the tax implications of using a home for business purposes.
Participants will gain insight into key topics including eligibility requirements, deductible expenses, and best practices for record-keeping. This event offers a valuable opportunity for staff of the organization/business advisors and clients (entrepreneurs and small business owners from Jacksonville’s Black-owned business community) to learn how to maximize available tax benefits while maintaining compliance with IRS regulations.
