5th Annual 2026 Small Business Success Summit - Florida SBDC Network

This in-person event is designed to provide entrepreneurs and small business owners with education, resources, and collaboration opportunities to support business growth and long-term success. The summit will feature keynote speakers, breakout sessions, and opportunities to connect with business consultants and fellow entrepreneurs from across Florida.

The event is intended for current and prospective small business owners, entrepreneurs, start-up businesses, Florida SBDC clients, and other members of the small business community. Attendees will receive practical guidance on various aspects of business ownership and management.

As part of the summit, the Stakeholder Liaison will present a breakout session, “Smart Tax Strategies for Start-Up Businesses: Federal Taxes and Your New Business.” The presentation will educate new and emerging business owners on federal tax responsibilities, including EIN requirements, recordkeeping, bookkeeping, business structures, gig economy considerations, and available IRS resources.

This event provides an opportunity for the Stakeholder Liaison to strengthen relationships with the Florida SBDC Network and the small business community while delivering timely federal tax education that promotes voluntary compliance and informed business decision-making.
