Inviting all small business owners! The IRS and the SBA are hosting a small business financial series. The series will focus on small business tax topics that impact your business and its long-term success. Topics covered will range from an overview of small business taxes to more specifics. This is your opportunity to hear directly from IRS and SBA representatives on topics related to federal income tax responsibilities. Small Business Tax Workshops

The Florida SBDC Network offers no-cost consulting and online and in-person educational training that covers current and practical information on business topics ranging from the basics to advanced business management skills.
 
These workshops include:

Starting a Business

These workshops include an in-depth overview of what it takes to start a business. Topics include: feasibility, business plans, acquiring capital, legal forms of business, and licensing requirements.

Tax Planning

These workshops provide an overview of business taxes, including employment taxes, business deductions, record keeping and electronic filing.

In-Person Workshops

In-person workshops, seminars, conferences, peer-to-peer round-tables, networking and matchmaking are offered at Florida SBDCs and at partner locations across the state. Nominal fees may be charged for training events.
