Start by linking your centralized authorization file number, or CAF number.

Linking your CAF number allows you to view individual and business taxpayer information, see all your active authorizations in one place, and even withdraw authorizations in real time.

To get started, select Link Your Calf Number on the homepage or from your profile.

Next, request a PIN.

To request a PIN for an individual tax professional, enter your calf number.

For a business, enter your calf number and employer ID number.

You will receive your PIN via mail within one to two weeks.

Pins will be mailed to the address connected to your calf number.

Once you receive your PIN, come back to your account, click Link your Calf number and select Enter PIN.

Type it in, hit Submit, and you're all set.
