Economic Impact Payments

We started issuing Economic Impact Payments in April. Most people received their payments automatically.

Non-filers who do not receive federal benefits: However, if you’re not normally required to file a federal tax return, you may need to provide information to the IRS by November 21 using the Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info Here tool to receive a payment in 2020.

If you miss this deadline, you’ll need to wait until next year and claim it as a credit on your 2020 federal income tax return.
