  • Make your installment payment by the due date. Create or log in to your Online Account to pay now or schedule a payment.

  • Continue to follow the terms specified in your payment plan and make your installment payments timely.

Frequently asked questions

If you don't make your installment payment, interest and penalties will increase and you could default on your installment agreement. If you default, you may have to pay a user fee to reinstate it.

You can use the Online Payment Agreement (OPA) tool to make changes to your existing installment agreement, including your monthly payment amount, payment due date, and convert an existing plan to a Direct Debit agreement.

You should pay taxes as you earn or receive income during the year. You can do this by having your employer withhold tax from your wages or by making estimated tax payments. Learn more about withholding and estimated tax payments.
