The First Steps to Starting a Business
This three-hour class provides a quick overview of the critical first steps needed to start a business. It is designed specifically for those who are thinking about a new business venture. Participants will assess their strengths and weaknesses in terms of business ownership, learn about the importance of planning, discuss legal and regulatory requirements and identify sources of funding. The IRS is providing educational information and products for this class. Cost: $49 (scholarships available); there is no charge by the IRS for this event.
