Business Information Seminar

The Business Information Seminars, offered by Cleveland SCORE, provide an overview of their services to individuals who are planning a startup business as well as people that have an existing business and who are looking for ways to improve their cash flow, revitalize their marketing programs and other ways to improve revenue. There is no cost to attend these seminars. SCORE is partnering with IRS by providing IRS small business materials and services at no charge during their discussion of taxes. The seminars are held in the conference room on the lower level at the US Bank Building (enter at East 14th Street entrance). Parking nearby (rates vary).

In partnership with Toledo SCORE, the Cleveland District U.S. Small Business Administration is continuing the highly requested “Ask the Expert” workshop series. This workshop is a continuation of the first series and is designed to bring various industry experts together to answer your questions on a variety of topics. Participants can ask questions and get answers concerning managing cash flow for a start- up business, existing business or a nonprofit organization, while networking with professionals and local business owners from all areas. Quick Books Basics in Toledo

In this QuickBooks Basics Workshop, you can learn the basics, like invoicing and paying bills and tracking expenses. This workshop takes place in a computer lab and you will be sitting at a computer with a sample business. You will navigate QuickBooks (QB) right along with the teacher and the objective is to increase your comfort level with QuickBooks and to get you started using QB for your business.
These workshops also offer an opportunity for you to interact with other local business owners. In partnership with SCORE, IRS is providing small business tax materials as part of the resources available to workshop participants free of charge. There is a $25 registration fee for the workshop.
