Engage in Entrepreneurship
Women's Business Center of North Alabama (WBCNA) provides one-on-one personalized business coaching to individuals interested in starting or growing their small business. We help determine where you are, where you want to be and help you develop a plan to get there. The Engage program consists of three steps: Engage Orientation, Engage Assessment and One-on-One Business Coaching. IRS is partnering with the WBCNA to provide materials for this program.

How to Start a Business in Baldwin County - Lunch & Learn
America’s Small Business Development Center National SBDC Day being proclaimed by Baldwin County Commission and several cities throughout the county. Workshop provided by the Alabama Small Business Development Center at no cost. IRS will provide small business materials and publications for the workshop. One-on-one sessions from 1-4 pm by appointment only.

NxLeveL for Business Start-ups Planning Series - Dothan & Enterprise
The NxLeveL for Business Start-ups course is a 9-session course designed for people who want to start a business and need the skills to test the feasibility of their business concept. Participants develop a business plan which acts as a blueprint for their start-up venture. IRS will provide small business materials and publications for the workshop. Seating is limited and reserved for the first 25 paid attendees. The series cost is $199.00; the fee includes all nine sessions, books and materials. Any fees are by the hosting organization and not the Internal Revenue Service.

Starting a Small Business
This is a four day workshop with Rick Zapata, Regional Extension Agent with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. Topics will be beneficial for existing and new businesses and will include business planning, marketing, bookkeeping, taxes and more. To get the most benefit, it’s recommended that those interested attend all four sessions of the workshop selected. IRS publications will be provided. Registration is not required, but is strongly encouraged.
