2026 SOI Bulletin, Summer Issue (Publication 1136)
The Statistics of Income Bulletin is issued quarterly by the Statistics of Income Division of the Internal Revenue Service. This report provides the earliest published annual financial statistics obtained from the various types of tax and information returns filed, as well as information from periodic or special analytical studies of particular interest to students of the U.S. tax system, tax policymakers, and tax administrators.
Featured article — Notice to SOI Bulletin users
Typically, all issues of this quarterly publication include an article(s) providing descriptive statistics based on data available from various tax and information returns filed by U.S. taxpayers. Over the past several years, the summer issue has presented articles on a variety of topics, including corporate foreign tax credit, nonfarm sole proprietorships, individual income tax return preliminary data, and foreign recipients of U.S. income. While this issue of the summer SOI Bulletin does not include a featured article, we invite our users to instead access the most current data available on all of these topics, which may be found at:
