If you downloaded the 2020 Instructions for Form 1040-SS before February 19, 2021, please note the following changes in the instructions. In page 4, under Virtual Currency, in the third bullet we deleted the word "purchase" and in the last bullet we deleted the word "acquisition." In page 8, we added the name and information of the service providers for users to make payments by phone using debit or credit cards. In page 13, under Line 5 at the end of the second paragraph, we deleted the reference to 1) and 2), earlier. The corrected version of the 2020 Instructions for Form 1040-SSPDF are available at IRS.gov.
