All uploads and downloads are transmitted in a .zip archive file format. You must compress and encrypt the signed FATCA data file in a .zip compressed file format using a compatible compression utility on Windows, Unix/Linux or OS X. Unrecognized compression methods will cause file transmissions to fail.
