Combat zone tax benefits expanded to additional areas

 

Beginning January 1, 2026, members of the U.S. Armed Forces serving in Kenya, Mali, Burkina Faso, or Chad may qualify for combat zone tax benefits, including additional time to file returns, pay taxes, and file claims for refund.
