More than 100 Job Vacancies at an IRS Direct Hiring Event in Jacksonville, FL for Contact Representatives

Jacksonville, FL — The Internal Revenue Service will be hosting a direct hiring event for seasonal term Contact Representatives positions to fill more than 100 vacancies available at the Jacksonville, FL Service Center on Thursday, June 11 at the Marriott Jacksonville (4670 Salisbury Road, Jacksonville, FL 32256) from 9 am to 1 pm.

Interested candidates must first apply to be pre-qualified and then will be eligible to attend the in-person event to receive a tentative job offer and be able to complete several pre-employment steps such as fingerprinting.

What is a direct hire event?

During the event, IRS hiring officials will make job offers on-the-spot to qualified attendees who applied to the announcement prior to the event. Priority consideration will be given to those job seekers that apply to the job posting and attend the event.

Contact Representative

As an IRS Contact Representative, you will research multiple computer-based programs and resources to provide tax-related assistance to Americans over the phone. The hourly pay for this position starts at $19.52 - $25.37.
